Is Pi Coin Now on Binance? Factcheck

The crypto world is buzzing again with talk about Pi Network’s PI coin and the major exchange Binance. Whispers on X (formerly Twitter) suggest that Binance has officially listed PI, stirring considerable excitement among Pi enthusiasts.

A widely shared post on X declared, “$Pi has been listed on Binance, I believe Binance has initiated the launch. The next phase is to observe the phenomenon.” This claim was accompanied by an image depicting Pi’s price as if it were actively trading on the Binance platform.

However, it’s crucial to note that neither Pi Network nor Binance has made any official statements confirming such a listing. Currently, Pi coin is not tradable on Binance.

This isn’t the first time Pi coin and Binance have been linked in speculation. Previously, Binance held a “Vote to List” event where users could nominate tokens, including Pi coin, for potential listing. Binance also conducted a separate community poll to gauge user interest in listing Pi.

Despite these initiatives, a listing is not automatic. Binance has clearly stated that any cryptocurrency must satisfy all their listing requirements, which include factors like trading volume, thorough risk assessments, and adherence to compliance standards.

Adding to the intrigue, Binance had previously excited Pi Network supporters by sharing creative graphics that incorporated the π (Pi) symbol. It’s important to remember, though, that these were simply visual posts and not official declarations of a listing.
